This was the third time I have been to the summit of this mountain. It is one of my favourite mountains. From a distance it appears as a fairly nondescript lump, from close by it is a massive and intricate array of corries, ridges, cliffs and steep grassy slopes. Even at the summit there is earth enough to support dense patches of grass. It forms the highest point on a squiggly ridge of seven Munros on the north side of Loch Tay. The best view of the mountain is from Carn Gorm to the north.
